Events

  • I need a receipt for purchasing my event ticket(s)
    If you are paying for the event via PayPal, you will receive confirmation emails from both Aim High Network and PayPal when your transaction is complete. If you are paying at the door, you can ask for a receipt when you check-in at the event. If you are sending a check by mail, ask for a receipt when mailing and one will be sent to you or given to you at the event.
  • Paying via PayPal
    We use PayPal as a safe and secure payment option. To pay for an event, you can pay at the door, or pay via PayPal on our website. To pay for your tickets, go to the event page that you are paying for. RSVP "I'm attending". Type in how many tickets you'd like to purchase and click "pay now". This will bring you to the PayPal website. If it doesn't divert you right away, try refreshing the page (cmd + R or ctrl + R) or go back and click the button again. Checkout as guest if you don't have a PayPal account or login if you have an account. Asking yourself have I paid yet? Good question, every time you visit the event page again you will see your RSVP and  if you have paid or haven't paid for the event. Have a PayPal account but want to use a different card or bank account? No problem, login and click "add new card". Problems checking out as a guest? You may not be able to checkout as a guest because the credit card you are using may already be linked to an existing PayPal account. In this case you would need to log into your PayPal account to complete the sale. See PayPal's Help Section for more questions.
  • How do I RSVP for an event?
    First, make sure you're logged in. You must be logged in to see the event details and RSVP. Click on Events / RSVP in the menu to view all upcoming events. Click on the event title to see the full description, and/or click on "I'm attending". You can pay via PayPal by clicking on "Pay Now". This will bring you to the PayPal website to either Login and pay via credit card/bank account or checkout as a guest. (See Paying via PayPal for more questions). You will receive confirmation emails for your payments as well as your RSVP to the event.

  • How do I become a member?
    To join Aim High Network, you must meet the credentials as seen on the 'How to Join' page, go through the nomination process which includes nominating yourself or being nominated, being approved and registering for the website. Please note: you do not have to register for the website to be a member, though it is suggested so you can get the full benefits of being a member.
  • How is Aim High Network different from the Chamber-After-Hours or BNI?

    Aim High Network’s purpose is to connect you to other inspiring women entrepreneurs and leaders for the purpose of uplifting and supporting you in your work and community. While new opportunities are likely to emerge through participation in the network, this is not a forum for direct marketing for your business.

Member Questions

  • How do I RSVP for an event?
    First, make sure you're logged in. You must be logged in to see the event details and RSVP. Click on Events / RSVP in the menu to view all upcoming events. Click on the event title to see the full description, and/or click on "I'm attending". You can pay via PayPal by clicking on "Pay Now". This will bring you to the PayPal website to either Login and pay via credit card/bank account or checkout as a guest. (See Paying via PayPal for more questions). You will receive confirmation emails for your payments as well as your RSVP to the event.
  • How do I register for the website?
    Registering for the website is easy! Go to the registration page by clicking on "register" under Quick Links on the bottom of the page, or go to http://aimhighnetwork.org/register. Fill in your information and the invite code. You will receive a confirmation email if you have registered successfully with your Username. Keep that in a safe place.  Congratulations, you are free to login!
  • Forgotten/Lost Username
    If you forgot your Username or are having issues logging in, remember that the Username contains all characters including hyphens, etc. that you created when you registered. Capital letters do not matter, you can use all lowercase and still successfully login. Alternatively, you can login with your email you used to register. Or fetch your Username from the confirmation email you received when registering. If you are still having trouble - don't worry, it happens! Feel free to contact us to retrieve your username or reset your login credentials.
  • I’ve attended your launch event, what’s next?

    Pam and Mary have committed to three more (quarterly) Aim High Network gatherings like the one on September 10, 2013. We are developing a social media strategy to build connections between network gatherings, as well as a process to capture your feedback and suggestions.

  • Can I bring my friends and colleagues?

    Aim High Network is an invitation-only network and there are clear criteria for participation.  It was not created to meet every woman’s networking needs. At the same time, Aim High Network is not intended to be exclusive.  After the initial gathering, there will be a nomination process to add more women to expand the network.

  • What is an Invite Code?
    The invite code is what new members receive to register for the website. It may be sent via email or over the phone to perspective members. The invite code must be typed in exactly how it received, capital and lowercase letters count. We try and account for any combinations that may be used, but we may miss a few. If it isn't working the first time, try copy and pasting it as you see it in the email. If you are a member, but haven't received or lost your invite code, please contact us.
  • How do I register for the website?

  • What does Protected Content mean?
    You may run into this page if you are trying to access a page that is only for certain members. For example this may include events, certain articles, member directory, member profiles, etc. If you are already a member, login to continue on to the page you'd like to see. If you are not a member and have your invite code, click "register". If you would like to become a member, click on "how to join" in the menu.

  • How do I login?
    After you have registered for the website, you will be sent a confirmation email with your username. Keep that in a safe place, you'll need to remember it or write it down for next time. Capital letters in Usernames don't matter but spaces and hyphens do. Capital letters in passwords do matter. You can login with your Username OR Email in the following places:
    • The Padlock "account" icon in the right side of the navigation bar.
    • The Login link under "Quick Links" towards the bottom of the page
    • http://aimhighnetwork.org/login
    • The protected content page - you will see this page if you are trying to access Member Only content like events, the member directory and certain articles.
